Scat: Toddler Tested; Foster Mom Approved.

This evening poor Scat had to deal with not one but two noisy, active toddlers in the house. They ran around, screamed, danced, sang, and offered him imaginary food. The cats scattered and took refuge in the basement ceiling (don't ask). The little dog barked his head off and ate a paper towel to alleviate his anxiety. The remarkable Mr. Scat took it all in stride. :-) It was, however, obviously quite an exhausting experience, because Scat is now conked out in the corner and looks like he's never moving again. ;-)

Hello from Scat's new foster home!

To confirm his new "cat-safe" status, Scat has come to stay in a cat-inhabited foster home. It's also infested with children and mean little dogs and Scat has weathered them all. ;-) He's already settled into his new foster home very well . . .

BIG NEWS!

It turns out Scat "lied" on his cat test at the track kennel, and he is cat friendly after all! Sometimes that happens and we love it when it does. He met one of our test kitties this weekend and was much more interested in getting lovin's and treats than in the evil kitty. They even shared some treats together. If you've passed over Scattie-cat because you have kitties of your own, take another look at this handsome boy! Warning: He will melt your heart...

Still Here!

Scattie-cat here. Yep, I'm still here, waiting for my forever home. This is me hanging with my foster brother and foster dad.
I just love people (cats, not so much). And I love hanging out with my canine buddies. The only thing I don't like is being left all alone. I get really scared and don't know what to do. As long as there's another dog in the house, I'm fine.

Other than that, I'm not scared of anything! I'm a pro at stairs now. I'm not scared of thunder or even slippery floors. Sometimes I skate all over but I don't get scared!

I'm very sweet and affectionate. Won't someone please take me into their hearts and home?

Scat here.

Hi, my name is Scat. I just came up from Florida and after a very long, tiring and confusing day, I am now living in a house with my foster mom and dad and foster brother and sister.

It's really different than living in a kennel! I think I'm going to like it. There are things called stairs to go down outside into the yard. They're pretty scary, but FM and FD showed me how to use them and I'm starting to get the hang of it.

I'm a really good boy. I'm watching the other kids here to learn the rules. One time I put my front paws up on the thing they call the counter and FM told me "No!", so I won't do that any more. Other than that, FM says I haven't done anything wrong!

I'm very sweet and affectionate and just love people! I would really like to find my forever home.
